The Chaga is the “Pearl of the North.” People in the inhospitable northern hemisphere of our planet have known this vital mushroom for centuries. Particularly rich deposits are found in the forests of Russia, Scandinavia and Canada. In our region, this mushroom is known as “Cinder Conk.” Its scientific name is Inonotus obliquus. It belongs to the family of Hymenochaetaceae. Its natural distribution area is subarctic regions in the northern hemisphere of the earth.
The name Chaga (or Tschaga) comes from Siberia or Northern Russia. The ingredients of Chaga have been scientifically investigated in Russia since the 1930s. There are also reports from Estonia about the use of this vital mushroom.
The Chaga is a so-called tree mushroom. It grows in a tuberous shape, mainly on birch and other deciduous trees. The tubers formed by the Chaga can be up to 40 cm wide. They are dark brown, sometimes even completely black. The mushroom we use is a mixture of wild collection and cultivation. The proportion of wild collection comes from Estonia.

The processing into mushroom powder capsules takes place completely and exclusively in our factory in Limeshain, Germany. The mushroom is gently ground into powder with a water-cooled mill and filled into HPMC capsules.

Store the product protected from light, sealed, and out of reach of small children. Protect from heat and store in a dry place. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, a doctor should generally be consulted before consumption. The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. For example, our production and all company vehicles are supplied with electricity produced in-house from our photovoltaic system (200 kW). We can therefore largely do without combustion engines. In addition, heat-loving mushrooms, which thrive at high temperatures, are only grown in summer. Cold-loving mushrooms in the cold season, in order to save heating and cooling energy. Two combined heat and power plants, which use the principle of combined heat and power, ensure a higher energy efficiency.
