Boswellia) was used for cultic and religious purposes as early as in the advanced civilizations of antiquity. Written references to the use of the precious resin, which was as valuable as gold in the times of the kings of Sheba, can be found, for example, in writings from the Nile Valley that are more than 3,500 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Among other things, the ancient Egyptians used frankincense to purify and perfume the air, but also for ointments.<\/p>\n<p>The ingredients of frankincense have only been scientifically researched for a few decades. The boswellic acids it contains are of particular interest.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>High content of active boswellic acids<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nOur frankincense comes from sustainable wild collection in the countries of East Africa (Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan) and South Arabia (Yemen and Oman). The pleasantly aromatic light yellow to brownish-yellow resin is obtained by incising the trunks of frankincense trees, mainly of the species Boswellia carterii. The harvest season is between December and March.<\/p>\n<p>Before further processing, the frankincense resin is checked for harmful residues such as heavy metals or pesticides in accordance with the strict regulations of the German Food Law. All controls take place in Germany. The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ripe, freshly harvested mushroom<\/span> is dried immediately after harvesting in our special, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">gentle drying process<\/span>, gently ground into powder with a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">water-cooled mill<\/span> and filled into HPMC capsules. There is no intermediate storage (e.g. in a cold store). Thanks to the immediate, fast and gentle processing, we guarantee that all important ingredients are preserved and that the mushroom does not lose its natural, beneficial properties for human nutrition. May contain traces of millet.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Recommended intake:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nTake 1 capsule 3 times a day with meals with plenty of liquid.<br \/>\nKeep the product protected from light, sealed and out of the reach of small children. Protect from heat and store dry. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, a doctor should generally be consulted before consumption. The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.
